Still-Stand!?

An elevator: we are transported effortlessly and dynamically, almost weightlessly, through highs and lows.
We ride high: ascents and careers are no great challenge for us; we find quick solutions to problems and difficulties in our high-altitude ride without much effort. Our feelings and thoughts soar.
But sometimes our elevator also takes us down into the depths of our subconscious. There, in the basement, we are confronted with fears, insecurities and dark thoughts.
But what if our elevator suddenly gets stuck? What happens to our thoughts in this case? Fear of isolation and confinement? Or perhaps a time-out, a protection against overconfidence and arrogance as well as fears and loneliness? We face reality, keep our feet on the ground and perhaps start to rethink our situation...
