28 June 2024 19:00–21:00
This idea proposes to walk through the streets of NeukÖlln and take them as inspiration for writing texts. At each stop I will propose that we do a creative writing exercise to encourage us to generate the texts. We will walk and write in parks, on bridges, and finish at the initial meeting point (Poropati) where we will share the shared texts.
No previous writing experience is necessary and everyone will be able to write in their mother tongue even if the workshop is in English.

Biography

Alicia Morán is a Spanish poet based in Berlin since 2017 and co-founder and cultural manager of Pasajero del Muro, an initiative that since 2018 promotes poetry among the Spanish-speaking community in Berlin through open mic meetings and creative writing workshops.
One of the workshops he has been proposing for three summers now is to use the streets of Berlin as inspiration for writing. We walk through different places and write according to the theme of the day (the city and memory, the city and bridges, the city and its hiding places ....). That's why I would like to offer this workshop in English so that everyone can write in their mother tongue in the framework of this festival :)
