I have created a photographic series on the subject of "urban silence", which arose from the joy of observation.
I am particularly interested in the quintessence of the seemingly everyday: I try to capture this moment photographically and allow the viewer to become the observer.
I see it as an ongoing project of my daily reception, reflection and imagination - of my environment, my surroundings, the neighbourhood.

I'm Alex, 28, communication designer, photographer & wanderer - I'm really curious about people, places and especially their stories behind.
I've been living in Berlin for almost 5 years and work in a vegan burger shop near the Dreiländereck. On the way, I often encounter situations in the neighbourhood that take me away from my everyday life for a moment and hold something special. I captured such moments of urban silence in my photographs and would like to share them with all neighbours, visitors and artists as part of the 48h Neukölln festival.
