In the exhibition "Abschiedsband" (Farewell Band), the artists Yasmin Alt (Berlin), Sebastian Biskup (Berlin), Ronny Lischinski (Berlin), Alex Wolkowicz (NYC), and Elmar Zimmermann (Berlin) explore the OUT/SIDE/IN theme from very different perspectives.
Analytical, poetic, playful, and conceptual, they establish their own approaches to the theme through sculpture, photography, drawing, and painting.
The exhibition venue plays a crucial role. An old bus serves as a display case on the former border and interacts with the KungerKiez Gallery on the Alt-Treptow side.

Analytical, poetic, playful, and conceptual, they establish their own approaches to the theme through sculpture, photography, drawing, and painting. This is achieved through the conceptualization of the artistic process, references to literature, and the exploration of analogies.
The exhibition venue also plays a crucial role. It lies directly behind the former Berlin Wall that separated Neukölln and Alt Treptow. Here, around Bouchestraße, numerous escape attempts and tunnels were built to cross the border wall.
