The group exhibition ANsichtssachen (POINTS OF VIEW) is taking place at Studio Ariane Kipp.
Merit Fakler, Joax, Ariane Kipp, and Nadia Valeska-Devonish's works present different perspectives on the same world. Many different realities coexist, sometimes leading us to doubt the facts.
In a time when everything is becoming ever faster, especially in the media world, Merit Fakler seeks refuges for reflection and relaxation. Using self-shot film footage, she creates colorful, constantly transforming visual worlds in complex working processes.

She is interested in the expression of formations, colors, and tempos, but also in inevitability.

Joax questions the zeitgeist with his steel sculptures. His objects ironically depict fragments of the reality in which we live.
Valeska-Devonish continually explores themes, inspired by her biography, which is characterized by travel and numerous relocations. At its center are the human being and his ambivalent identity in a global yet fragmented world. Her interests lie in the dialogue between the individual and space, privacy and surveillance, the exploration of her own family history and the question of what kinship actually means, the defusing of memory through blurring, and the rituals of communication. Kipp is dedicated to upcycling urban fragments of human existence. Her assemblages, in their diverse forms, captivate with their lightness and vibrant colors. Her works whisper letters, words, and fragments of sentences to us. They reveal strange minds, eyes, and symbols of our world. At the same time, the images transformed into art observe us, the viewers. The fragmented state of the texts, however, no longer allows us to understand the original information of the posters. All that remains is our own conjecture about reality.
