Open Studio Esther Quade

Esther Quade is more than an artist. She is a complete work of art. As a child, she won a literature competition, painted extensively, and sang in the church choir. As a teenager, she recorded her first album on a four-track recorder, which she sold on self-recorded cassettes. Now, this musician, influenced by powerful women like Kate Bush and Björk, has written more than 1,000 songs. She releases her albums through her label, Lucky Army Records. For Esther Quade, her music is a landscape constantly changing with the "brushstrokes" of her voice and lyrics. Since the pandemic, she has devoted herself more intensely to visual art.
