“Tripping the Rift”
Installation | dimensions variable, potatoes, theremin + various materials
Daniel Janik, 2025
“Novocene”
Mixed reality installation | Quest 3, cardboard sculpture, 5x5m
Jens Isensee, 2025
Novocene is a mixed reality experience unfolding an interactive narrative about the Anthropocene, the current geological era, entirely dominated and shaped by humans. Accordingly, the polar ice masses in this interactive video installation will melt at some point and the climate crisis will cause the analog exhibition environment to sink under a virtually rising sea level.
“Phantom Pond”
Video | various materials
Deborah Uhde, 2025
Deborah Uhde's work “Phantom Pond” follows the traces of a controlled intervention in an uncontrollable legacy. The installation is dedicated to an explosive ordnance disposal project in Germany, the Dethlinger Teich in the Heide. A cross-media ensemble creates a tipping point between engineering excellence and a fragile coping strategy.
“RIP”
Installation | e.g. step motors, fabric
Tom Meier, 2025
RIP is a kinetic sound installation, an automaton, conceived solely to tear apart. A tear that eats its way through a roll of textile, which is attracted by two smaller rollers at a distance. The spatial divergence of the smaller rolls tears the fabric. This tear is a vector and a continuous sculpture. The varying tension creates a melody of tearing.
