Auctio - you don't talk about money
Money is probably the quietest medium of exchange in our world, which creates the loudest problems. In order to generate a little more silence in the land of capital, we are organising a participatory exchange event, followed by a happening at Studio Nagelneu.
Together we want to network, share resources and explore our environment and its actors. Be there when we meet on Friday 28 June at 7 pm to distribute objects that we have found in Neukölln to all interested participants. The aim is for you to exchange these items for other objects in the Neukölln neighbourhood and to increase their value through the act of swapping and their stories. The following evening, until Saturday 29 June at 5 pm, Studio Nagelneu will be transformed into an auction house. There you have the opportunity to turn your swapped items into art objects that have become true treasures through their history and presentation and can be auctioned off against other objects.

Biography
Paula & Paula
We are Paula Firmbach and Paula Holzhauer, an interdisciplinary duo from Kassel who joined forces as part of the "48-h Neukölln" festival. Paula Firmbach studied organic farming and urban plant and open space management in Witzenhausen and Berlin. Paula Holzhauer studied Visual Communication and Media Art in the Department of Experimental Radio in Weimar and Rijeka (HR). She combines her interest in participative projects, urban explorations and artistic exchange formats that find cross-media forms.
