“Berlin, the Bitch and the Witch” understands art as a contemporary form of magic: as a conscious act of reinterpretation, disruption, and transformation of the everyday. The participating positions act like magicians who use images, materials, language, and bodies to reveal and question social structures. Magic functions as a mode of cognition that operates beyond purely rational logic and enables other approaches to knowledge, memory, and experience. What makes this exhibition special is the ironic lightness with which complex themes such as power, trauma, and collective imagination are negotiated in an accessible way.

The exhibition gathers artist-magicians who work with movement, sound, irony, fiction, and irreverence to reveal what capitalism renders invisible: care, madness, healing, resistance, and interconnection.
