Femininity is Celestial is a series of paintings in gouache that explore feminine energy beyond the physical. The works combine figurative and abstract elements, blending bodies, forms, and space into continuous compositions. At the center is the feminine as a force, not tied to fixed identities or roles, but experienced as a fluid, ever-changing principle between self, nature, and the cosmos. The series also explores polarities, with a deliberate focus on the feminine to highlight its presence.
Aleyna Çaylak uses illustration, animation, and concept art as a basis for her practice. Figures are often simplified, reduced, or exaggerated, while space and form are treated as open, flowing structures. Elements of alienation reflect personal experiences in the physical and social world.

Biography
Aleyna Çaylak
Aleyna Çaylak (born 2000 in Berlin, of Turkish and Macedonian descent) is an illustrator and painter. She works on a large scale and has developed from digital and animated approaches to analog painting. Her works combine figurative and abstract elements, moving from illustrative depictions to freer, flowing compositions. Her practice addresses themes of feminine energy, polarities, alienation, and spiritual subjects that have accompanied her since youth. Aleyna lives and works in Berlin, where she presents her works in exhibitions and publications.
