29 June 2024 15:00–17:00
Vernissage and workshop show as part of 48 Stunden Neukölln
Paintings and drawings by participants of the courses
"Figur im Bild" and "Freies Atelier Malerei " of the VHS Neukölln
under the direction of B. Clausnitzer

Figures from the imagination
Inspired by "The Milk of Dreams" at the last Biennale di Venezia, the artists each used their own artistic language to approach the creatures that reside in dreams, cloud formations and dark corners, but also in brushstrokes and layers of paint.

Further references come from fairy tales, Christian history, ancient Egyptian and Greek mythology as well as individual experiences.
The main part of the exhibition consists of large-format portraits, each 100cm x 50 / 60 or 70cm, as "portraits" of the individual imagined beings.

In drawings, texts and small totem objects, studies were created that are grouped around the main works.

Performance at 3.30 pm | 29.06.2024
