The world goes crazy, and brings more and more reasons to enclose our minds and hearts to feel safe. To hibernate until the ‘Spring’ comes, if it ever does.

We blur and silence the triggering images and sounds of the city, stop reading the news, keep up with world events, and try to stop the anxiety by isolating ourselves from personal interactions. All to soften the pain and minimize the damage it does to our hearts. As a result, our own voices fade away, and our perception of reality is transformed.
Ultimate silence leaves no room for speaking the truth, expressing emotions, turning everything into ice, and bringing the illusion of safety.

Within 'Hibernation,' we explore silence as part of a social and psychological avoidance pattern.
