In the midst: Contemplation

PerformanceChor für Experimentellen Gesang Berlin

29 June 2024 16:00–18:00
A concert for experimental singing, designed for the architectural structures, the spacious, acoustic conditions of the performance venue. The audience enters a space filled with sounds. Seats in the middle of the room invite them to stay, leave, come back... Where do the sounds come from? Tape or vocal chords? The audience is invited to listen to these unfamiliar sounds without being visually distracted: The singers remain hidden. Voices that are not bound to a specific language, but express the sound of the body. The listeners are thrown back on themselves, on the echo of what they hear within themselves.
