The Foto-Salon is a group of artists that Ellen Roters has hosted in her studio for many years.
It's a place that offers the opportunity to present own works and discuss it together. In addition, own exhibitions are organized, positions of other artists are discussed and exhibitions are visited together. What the artists have in common is that they work in the spirit of author photography, which is primarily interested in the own environment and aims to implement an own visual language and themes beyond clichés.
In addition to the host the current members are Marion George, Bettina Lessmann, Nikola Holocher, Reinhard Nrachdal, Steffen Weidmann and Ulrike Ludwig.
