What does it actually take to create the perfect line of cocaine?
In this satirical lecture performance, La Tercermundista invites the audience to an unusual masterclass. What first appears to be a humorous tutorial for nightlife quickly develops into a critical journey through colonial history, global power relations, and the romanticized image of cocaine consumption in the Global North.
Blending reality-TV aesthetics, ironic lecture, and performative storytelling, the work connects personal anecdotes, historical fragments, and pop-cultural references. While a guide to the “perfect line” seems to unfold, another story emerges, one about the hidden costs behind a white line, from colonial exploitation and scientific discoveries to the imagery of contemporary pop culture.
Somewhere between party, lecture, and political archive, the performance asks a simple question:
Who actually pays for the fun?
Duration: approx. 20–30 minutes.

Biography
Die Dritteweltländerin
La Tercermundista, aka die Dritteweltlaenderin, is a Berlin based performance artist and fictional persona originally from Barranquilla, Colombia. Living in Germany for more than a decade, she works at the intersection of lecture performance, satire and political fiction.
The character of die Dritteweltlaenderin emerged in response to persistent stereotypes in Germany that reduce Colombian identity to cocaine, criminality and exoticized violence. Rather than correcting these images through representation, her work appropriates and exaggerates them to expose their colonial and political foundations.
Working with lecture performance, satire and embodied storytelling, the artist treats the body as a political archive shaped by projection, power and imagination.
