ZU HAUSE.
Nora Decker, Lola Mercedes Wittstamm
3 July 2026 19:30–21:30
ZU HAUSE. Is an interactive, nonverbal performance. The two performers, Nora Decker and Lola Mercedes Wittstamm, perform a home: they live in the room for two hours. They are simply there.
There is a table, several chairs. A teapot, cups, perhaps a book lying on the table. A cap. A bowl of fruit. We hear the sound of a washing machine, the quiet hum of a refrigerator, a clock ticking. A home.
Through concrete actions by the audience, nonverbal action loops are triggered by the performers. We experience a kind of choreography, something familiar. Perhaps there are unspoken rules: if someone drinks tea, they must hum while doing so. Perhaps someone is working meticulously on their laptop and drinks a cup of coffee for every new person in the audience.
The audience can be part of the performance from the outside or enter ZU HAUSE. There is something to drink, perhaps a message can be left in a diary or the music can be changed. A home is created by and for 48h Neukölln, for the respective audience, those who are actually present.
