In the bustling heart of the city, where noise reigns supreme, can silence find its place? Amidst the clamor of urban life, with its crowd of humanity and ceaseless machinery, buildings stand tall as both creators and echoes of this cacophony. Yet, in the absence of bustling crowds and humming engines, a different essence emerges. A serene beauty, a silent testament to the artistry of human hands.

Biography

Charlotte Languillier

Charlotte's photographic work focuses primarily on her surroundings. Faces, landscapes and the thoughts that permeate them sometimes come together to form a picture of hand-drawn sketches, analogue photography and her words. Growing up in a suburb of Paris and living in Berlin for over a decade, she sees the cityscape as a calming, vibrant place - her natural environment. She is fascinated by the poetry that emerges from brief moments of urban life. She tries to show in the best possible way how light and nature penetrate the city and create something new and unexpected at any time.
