We don't know what to expect. We can wish for it, we can imagine it. But we will experience it when our photos hang on the wall. We have our reasons for reaching for the camera, our gut feeling to press the shutter release. Planned, instinctive, out of passion.....sometimes just blindly. This photo exhibition at Bar Lindemann is a blind date between 3 artists who enter into a silent communication with analog photography with 3 perceptions and perspectives.

Biography

Vronsky, Eva, Sokol

VRONSKY She uses her grandfather's almost 100-year-old Icarette camera for her photographs. Lint, light reflections and scratches stand in contrast to today's demand for perfection and remind us of our transience - time blurs and the moment remains.

EVA, comes from the Republic of Moldova, studied film and photography in Paris and lives in Berlin. Most of her photos are taken on film, which she uses to capture mysterious and magical moments in life.

SOKOL has grown tired of memory cards and hard drives, Photoshop and the possibilities of perfectionism. The conversations with Vronsky and Eva bring analogue photography back to life. 20-year-old films found in the cellar - stories from Neukölln - long forgotten rediscovered.
