Shortly before Christmas, we met at a good friend's house. He was standing on the kitchen table. He was beautiful, long-legged, and handsome. No one wanted to inherit his legacy, so I took him under my wing. He became the source of my inspiration. On our very first night together, I spiced up his outfit with chili peppers— oh yes, that suited him well. I confronted him with the shit of the world, and for two weeks he refused his destiny. He finally found it and now stands majestically before the blind spots of our time. He offers sharp criticism because "the harshest critics of moose were once moose themselves" (F. W. Bernstein—co-founder of Titanic). Perfect in form and color, he casts his iridescent shadow for us, here in our house.
