In my new project I want to search for these stereotypical images, associations and music/sounds and their sources and try to understand how they influence our everyday life and behavior. I intend to produce images, associations and sounds, to create new spaces of experience and to deconstruct the stereotypical images and associations.
I plan to research the images and associations of people with and without a migration background to music and images. In concrete terms, this means using the multicultural potential of society to investigate ideas about music and images of other countries with audio-visual questionnaires online and in public spaces and to produce these as a booklet with an audiobook.

I want to make the connections tangible with the help of an interactive installation and thus deconstruct these stereotypical images and associations.
The installation addresses the effect of media attributions on the perception of music and images and attempts to show that there is in fact no inherent originality in music and images. The installation reverses this process by allowing the music and images to incorporate the attributions, erasing their meanings and growing through this process. As we continue to attribute new and changing meanings to language and music over time, the installation makes it clear that there is no fixed meaning of music and images and that the way we perceive music and images is changed by the representations we are confronted with. In the installation, the music changes in a very concrete way by incorporating the associations.
