Based on the game of silent mail, in which words and sentences are passed on in constant transformation, we ask ourselves the questions: How does silence spread? How does it change when it moves from one body to another? "The gentleness endures" uses the body and dance to convey more subtle messages. Particular attention is paid to the quality of touch as a mediating medium between the bodies. The two dancers search for ways in which this quality can intensify or interrupt stillness and strive to create a symbiosis that makes the invisible visible.
Biography
Choreographie und Performance: Lisa Lotte Giebel | Künstlerische Mitarbeit und Performance: Anna Müller
Lisa Lotte Giebel studied contemporary dance in Finland and has since worked as a freelance dancer based in Leipzig. She is a choreographer and lecturer at the Tanzlabor Leipzig (mixed-abled company). She also leads courses and workshops for contemporary dance, improvisation at the Tanzerei Flugfisch, at the Theater der jungen Theater der jungen Welt and at the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences.
Anna Müller is a dancer at Tanzlabor Leipzig. She has been associated with the Tanzlabor Leipzig and has attended numerous free dance classes and workshops. In 2023 she performed in the autobiographical piece "The Person I Am" by Vasiliki Bara. Anna has a muscle disease and is in a wheelchair. She is working at Tanzlabor Leipzig since 2018 in the public relations and inclusive communication.
