back to the same place as last year. equipped with stories from 48h nk 2023. this year we invite you back to café karanfil, where visitors can listen to stories about the café and the streets at where it lies. what happened last year? how do the conversations from last year resonate with us today? what history does this place convene?
between our own metropolitan numbness and an intuitive engagement with the emotional states in the streets and squares we move through, we want to focus our attention on deeper political, social and geographical processes.
what is being talked about and what is not? what is heard particularly loudly and what things are thus covered up or restricted?
interviews from the 2023 festival about life in and sounds, noises, and voices of the city - especially around café karanfil - and found footage are forming the material for an auditory landscape in which a year can pass by.

Biography
caro bodensteiner, danosch maghsudi
danosch and caro are friends. both work in theatre.
danosch acts, works as dramatic advisor and as an freelancing artist for various companies between berlin and hamburg.
in addition he creats music, websides and videos.
caro studies theatre directing in zurich and is currently working on her graduation project. a multi-media research about the zürcher höllentor. she also performs from time to time, sells drinks and did a fair number of audio-visual projects, from installations to performances.
