In this year's open studio Thomas Monses shows paintings, drawings and risograph prints. Amongst others many of the shown works are based on photographs he took during his stay in Hong Kong this year.

Aurelio Kopainig presents a live performance with improvisations on the guitar on both days.

Biography

Thomas Monses, Aurelio Kopainig

Thomas Monses studied at the Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and finished in 2005 successfully. Since 2011 he lives and works in Berlin. His artistic work include painting, drawing and risograph printing.

Aurelio Kopainig is a multidisciplinary artist, working mainly in photography, drawing, text, installation, film/animation and most recently music/sound art. He studied at the Hochschule für Kunst und Gestaltung in Zurich, at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and at the San Francisco Art Institute. He has lived and worked in Berlin since 2004 and at times in Buenos Aires.
