IYKYK

Oliwia Meiser, Clara Baesecke

29 June 2025 16:00–17:00
Classical music is boring. This is a common assumption—or at least, one might think so. As a classical musician, you may even feel a certain fear of this perception, along with the pressure to prove the opposite. But does this idea of how classical music is perceived actually reflect reality? In practice, as c/o duo, we have often experienced quite the opposite—for example, at the last edition of 48 Stunden Neukölln: Children dancing in the front row to 18th-century music? We wouldn’t have expected it, but what a beautiful surprise!
With IYKYK, c/o duo once again invites the audience to approach their expectations with an open mind—perhaps discovering and experiencing entirely new truths. You think you “know” Ennio Morricone? If you know, you know—but we will see (or rather, hear)!
