In the middle of the city, you might stumble upon a small garden house. It’s cosy, and the scent of coffee is in the air. the Liminal Garten House offers a place to hang out chat and have a drink. At the same time the Liminal Garden House is a garden house of inner gardens and landscapes.
Liminal Maps invites you to explore inner landscapes. The card set „Fuzzy Feelies“ developed by the artist, allows visitors to connect with their feelings and needs in an associative way, sensing into what is alive within them.
Throughout the day, the feeling and needs cards chosen by participants are displayed on the little house. The more often a card is chosen, the larger it appears, so that over the course of the day a collective landscape of feelings and needs gradually emerges.
Here in the urban in-between, something becomes visible and tangible that we often overlook: the wonder of individual emotional colors and the beauty of needs and longings. In this way, “Liminal Maps” creates a map of inner worlds that, in times of increasing division and conflict, fosters empathy, connection, and exchange, with oneself, with friends, and with strangers.
