Living Thresholds brings together ink drawing and ceramic sculpture to explore the porous boundaries between self and world. Both bodies of work treat borders not as fixed lines but as living thresholds, where understanding and identity continuously shift.
On paper, human figures emerge through wandering ink lines that falter, dissolve, and spill beyond contour. Each gesture traces a map of becoming, where body and space merge into zones of tension. Perception, culture and the other's gaze define these painted reflections.
In clay, layered sculptures are molded through adaptation and rupture. Seams and transitional surfaces record how matter and body negotiate belonging over time. History continues to shape the restless, resilient forms out of its soil.
Together, our work displays identity as a porous and ever-changing formation, formed by inner perception and outer expectation. We invite viewers to experience our lived thresholds with us.

Biography
Flora Kwong & Lilly Vörösmarthy
As a Berlin-based artist, Flora works with earthen materials to create ceramic forms that explore the transitions between matter, memory, and the body. Born in Toronto to Chinese immigrants, this heritage shapes her thinking about change and belonging. Her sculptures reflect the coexistence of growth and limitation and of collision and fusion.
Lilly is a Chinese-Hungarian artist whose work focuses on abstract figures and gestures. Working with ink and watercolors, she works quickly to let go of internal judgment and perfectionist constraints. Through fluid lines and ephemeral forms, she strives for expression, allowing the vulnerability inherent in everything that emerges on paper.
