Jean-Paul Pastor Guzmán moves through his everyday life with open eyes and open ears. As a photographer, he is interested in the beauty of fleeting moments and situations.
Since not everything can always be captured photographically, he collects his observations and overheard snippets of conversations as quotes in his sketchbooks.
These accidentally overheard conversations provide an insight into sometimes private and absurd moments, but also current social discourses.
The exhibition shows a wide selection of everyday moments and snippets of conversations from the last 10 years.

Biography
Jean-Paul Pastor Guzmán (*1985, Aachen) works as a multi-disciplinary artist in the field of photography and illustration.
His photography explores the simple beauty and poetry of everyday life.
He also translates these observations into drawings, sketches and written phrases.
