OUT/SIDE/IN is presented by the artist as a dynamic process of a relationship. The boundary between inside and outside is not a line of separation, but rather a place of encounter—of imagination and longing, as well as of mistrust and fear. Two parallel worlds that, through this boundary, create an illusory space.
It exists in the subconscious, in dreams, and in the utopian idea of a relationship. A place where time moves at its own pace. Creativity becomes a bridge-builder, making togetherness possible despite distance. Words, music, images, shared memories, and stories become paths that connect us.
The work portrays the search for another reality in which presence becomes a feeling. Each party experiences it individually—a reality in which we are not physically close, but emotionally and spiritually connected.
Through the collage technique, a letter by C. Bukowski is integrated into the image. Acrylic on canvas, 2025 – still in process.

Biography
Tsvetelina Valcheva
My name is Tsvetelina Valcheva. I am a visual artist and art therapist. I have been living and working in Berlin since 2015. In Sofia, Bulgaria, I studied fine arts and pedagogy and later continued my education in Berlin in the fields of psychology and psychotherapy. In my artworks, I experiment with media such as painting, collage, and others. I have participated in diverse formats of 48 Stunden Neukölln, including Futur III, “Es hat Boom gemacht”, and KAFAYI YEMEK! ICH ESSE MEINEN KOPF!
