LiTE-HAUS will present a group exhibition in one of our three rooms. The theme is "QUIET PLACE". Images of real and imagined places. We welcome three artists - a photographer, a painter, and a digital artist. Each artist uses different techniques to show quiet urban scenes.

Biography

Stephanie Bock, Rike Damel, Vera Leisibach

Stephanie Bock paints cityscapes from her many travels around the world. She prefers to avoid recreating images from photos. When you see the sun shining on rooftops, you can almost feel the warmth.

Rike Damel is the alter-ego of an abstract painter who uses digital tech to create glimpses of parallel worlds, exploring themes of loneliness, sexuality, longing, and loss.

Vera Leisibach pursues an artistic practice in which she documents inconspicuous, fascinating details in everyday life, creating an extensive video and photo archive. These seemingly inconsequential moments are captured on the cell phone camera.
