Visual reading "Radical amazement"
This is a reading for the magazine release "Radikales Staunen". The magazine deals with photographs, paintings and texts about all the paths that lie in between. Between two places, two dates, travelling from A to B.
As part of the festival, the authors read their texts about the unnoticed places and people that we encounter every day when we move around the city. Leaving the same front door behind us every day and walking through the same stairwell to discover something new and inspiring. A zoom into the everyday, a new stillness and source of inspiration. The artist Schirin Moaiyeri photographs and paints her paths so that they are not travelled in vain.
The booklet of this exploration and the texts can be seen and heard at the reading on Saturday at 16:00 in the Hotel Caribuni and on Sunday at 17:00 in the Polymedial Ponyhof.

Biography
Schirin Moaiyeri, Sontje Liebner, Burcu Türker, Paula Hanoldt, Carolin Stüer
Schirin Moaiyeri is a photographer and artist living in Berlin. In 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, she rediscovered painting - and has been combining it with her passion for photography ever since.
Schirin also works collaboratively and is active in two collectives. She is a co-founder of the photo collective Cadavre Exquis, whose sixth exhibition will take place at Bethanien in spring 2025. She is also one of the founders of Die Goldene Discofaust . The artist collective was already part of 48h Neukölln in 2016. For her project ALLES//AHNUNGEN (2022), she collaborated with writer friends for the first time. She then initiated her latest project "Radikales Staunen" (Radical Amazement).
