SHUT UP

Alfred Banze, Stephan Groß

Barrierefreie Toilette
28 June 2024 19:00–22:00
The AV group KOPI KAPUTA shows a music performance with loud and quiet and some nuances. The stage is formed by Groß's installation SHUT UP made of floor grid elements, combinable square modules that essentially become pixels of digital typography. In this process, the gray pixels represent text, in this case, in the context of the festival theme, the message SHUT UP - a request that, at first glance, has no reference, but on closer reflection quickly opens up a wealth of references, especially in the festival area of the 48 hours.

Kopi Kaputa's musical performances bridge the gap between Dada Art, medieval street ballads, chanson & punk. Their German-language songs are subtitled with projections of drawn picture panels, collages, duck dances or other eccentricities. Alfred Banze, Stephan Groß and friends.
