Under the title STILLS, the two photographers Stefan Höferlin and Jean-Paul Pastor Guzmán follow the ongoing question, whether urban silence is even possible in a big city.
In their joint project they connect their photographic works in a dialogue.
These still lifes are often a pause in the fast-moving dynamics of today's society.
The exhibition shows photographs which are visually very loud and yet still have a clear beauty and
serenity of the everyday urban chaos.

Biography
Stefan Höferlin (*1983, Detmold) is a multi-disciplinary artist with a focus on photography and painting.
His photographic works move in the areas between documentary photography, portraits and the fleetingness of everyday moments.
Jean-Paul Pastor Guzmán (*1985, Aachen) works as a multi-disciplinary artist in the field of photography and illustration.
His photography attempts to find the simple beauty and poetry of everyday life.
He also translates these observations into drawings, sketches and written phrases.
His photographic works move in the areas between documentary photography, portraits and the fleetingness of everyday moments.
Jean-Paul Pastor Guzmán (*1985, Aachen) works as a multi-disciplinary artist in the field of photography and illustration.
