the solo 'swallow it!' explores the countless facets of our being and the acceptance that we can hold many different roles and character traits within us. opinions and perspectives don’t always fit into a single category; they are fluid, just like we are. we are not just one thing, we are many.
it’s about discovering, about not letting yourself be told who or how you should be. about knowing your boundaries, setting them, and letting them go again. about learned adaptation and breaking free from it. about the outer versus the inner. mind versus feeling. it’s about the back and forth, the ups and downs, the ugly and the beautiful.
it’s about identity — the one that already exists and the one still waiting to be found. 'swallow it!' — a love letter to change, a physical journey through the chaos of one’s own layers.

Biography
romina geppert
romina geppert is a freelance dancer and choreographer based in Berlin. She received her training as a contemporary stage dancer at DIE ETAGE - School of Performing and Fine Arts and at DANCEWORKS berlin. Shaped by urban influences, contemporary technique, and a love for improvisation, romina develops a movement language that is both physically intense and highly sensitive.
As a dancer, she performs in contemporary dance productions as well as in video and film projects. As a choreographer, she works on contemporary stage pieces, dance theatre, and theatre productions. Her own works have been presented, among others, at the Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar, the sic Festival in Italy, Theater an der Parkaue, the Tendermesh Film Fest, Theater im Delphi, and LOFFT – DAS THEATER.
As a dancer, she performs in contemporary dance productions as well as in video and film projects. As a choreographer, she works on contemporary stage pieces, dance theatre, and theatre productions.
