textile tales - Neukölln locations and the entirety of the sounds that are constantly present in the background and not [consciously and] clearly perceived as such are interpreted using textile craftsmanship. The result is works that are intended to reflect Neukölln locations and their auditory perception in their feel and appearance.
Our work revolves around the topic of upcycling textiles. We (Miriam S. and Linh H.) use techniques such as sewing, knitting, crocheting, knotting and embroidery.
We interpret the following locations: Hermannplatz, cemetery, parks & gardens, Sonnenallee, Rixdorf.
