Dive into "Vibration," an explosive sound journey waiting for you in the heart of Neukölln at the Apotheke - Space for Music and Art. Forget the usual city soundscape – an extraordinary experience recalibrating your senses awaits you here. The unique sound installation in a soundproofed space breaks away from urban sound habits and allows for a reinterpretation of urban Berlin.
Isabel Rößler on double bass, vocal artist and soprano Efa Hoffmann with her voice and a sound installation of both familiar and unfamiliar Berlin acoustics, along with Annette Stemmann's acoustic magnet in the form of a dress, curated by Marcel Alexander Mayr, create an acoustic immersion for re-examining customary listening.
'Vibration' transforms the Apotheke into a unique echo of Berlin, leaving the usual noise of the city behind. A listening experience that invites you to pause and sharpens the sense often overlooked in urban daily life awaits you in this soundproof refuge. Here, the loud overlays of everyday life are filtered out to reveal the subtle, underlying sounds of the city. It's a discovery of Berlin's hidden vibrations and offers a rare opportunity for acoustic self-reflection, inviting you to engage in a dialogue with the city and yourself.
