Womb-hood is a performance installation project based on the connection between my ceramic sculptures and my present body. I activate sculptures that symbolize parts of my female family tribe, by physically moving with them through space. The work explores the concept of womanhood and how it translates into sculpture and movement.
The performance is guided by the energy of the sculptures, the space, and my body. Movement emerges from this encounter; a shared presence unfolding in the moment. The connection that becomes visible is not a fixed form, but an ongoing process of becoming.

Biography
Linde van der Burgh
My name is Linde van der Burgh. I studied Illustration at the Utrecht School of the Arts in the Netherlands and currently work in my studio at KAOS Berlin.
Drawing, ceramics, and performance form the core of my practice. I combine these mediums to process my experiences and give shape to the internal processes I move through. My work explores themes of vulnerability, transformation, and the interplay between inner and outer worlds.
Processes I observe in nature, such as growth and cycles, inspire me. They reflect what is happening within and around me, offering insight into what it means to be human.
