Flur an der Wand
FLUR KOLLEKTIV
3 July 2026 19:00–23:00
FLUR AN DER WAND is an open-air exhibition that transforms a public wall into a temporary exhibition surface. The photographs are installed directly onto the wall using poster prints and adhesive techniques borrowed from street advertising, allowing the works to merge with the visual language of the city.
The exhibition brings together fifteen photographs, each contributed by a member of the collective. Installed as a single composition across the wall, the images form a collective portrait of urban life.
The works move between portraits of residents, interiors of neighborhood bars, moments of political discussion in public space, and quiet observations of the city. The opening takes place as a street vernissage with music and drinks, where festival visitors and passersby encounter the works as they would posters, graffiti, or public notices embedded in the street.
Exposed to weather, time, and public intervention, the images remain on the wall beyond the opening, gradually shifting as they become part of the city itself.

Biography
FLUR KOLLEKTIV
The FLUR Collective is a group of 15 photographers from the Ostkreuz School of Photography. In our work, we explore the present with all its contradictions and moments of intimacy. Our photographic approaches are documentary, conceptual, or artistic.
FLUR sees itself as a space for exchange, critical reflection, and collective visibility—a place where contemporary perspectives are constantly shifting, consolidating, and unfolding anew.
For our debut exhibition “inmitten,” the collective took over a 1,000-square-meter commercial complex in Kreuzberg and presented 15 photographic series there as part of Berlin Art Week 2025.
