ANGER has been coursing through our veins ever since we were said to have been formed from Adam's fucking rib. NOW IT'S OVER. The anger will no longer simmer in the kitchens, it wants to get out of the apartments, because the children are not its addressee. And anyway: you meet THE OTHER ANGRY women* and mothers on the street. WITHDRAWAL AND SEPARATION ARE NO LONGER AN OPTION.
This is not an exercise. I repeat, THIS IS NOT AN EXERCISE!
The valuable resource of female anger is a means, fuel and reliable compass to change our inner and outer world. Your power has the potential to break down traditional role models and free yourself from them.
In WUTRÄUME IV, the duo decker // nettelnbreker deals with anger in and about motherhood. In their collaboration, the performers experience a strong sense of solidarity through the joint discovery and questioning of subcutaneous networks of anger that women* have carried with them for thousands of years.
As experts in female anger, the performers occupy and conquer new spaces and invite the audience to become part of their ritual practice.

duo decker // nettelnbreker
The duo decker // nettelnbreker conducts process-oriented research into the productive potential of female anger and explores spaces in which this anger can be articulated. In their work they repeatedly question their own mother and daughter. The duo sees themselves as multipliers for resistant feminist practice and sees their own work as an attempt at healing.
