Which reality have you become entangled in today?

‘Entangled Realities’ invites visitors to experience the exhibition space as a field of relations and occurrences in which artworks, artists, and audience alike interact and become entangled in unpredictable ways. Bringing together four artists working across painting, collage, sculpture, and video installation, the exhibition explores entanglement as a cross-disciplinary concept emerging from philosophy, spirituality and science, revealing each artists’ distinct perspective and relation to it. By delving into the presumption that reality is not a fixed construct, but an endless continuum of transformation, entanglement appears here as a bridge of resonance between the inner self and the outside world.

“When two systems interact and then separate, they can no longer be described independently.”
— Erwin Schrödinger

As described in the quantum entanglement theory, subatomical particles can merge to a point where individuality is being dissolved, melted into a new reality which is shared by all participating entities. Drawing inspiration from quantum physics, ‘Entangled Realities’ thus unfolds as an investigation of the shared state of artworks inhabiting the same space, while simultaneously retaining their autonomy and own meaning given by each artist in particular.

Within the intimate setting of Diner41, the exhibition unfolds across two rooms and a connecting hallway, where visitors are invited to move freely while interacting with the myriad of images and materials as well as with other visitors. Throughout the weekend, workshops and projection performances on the same topic will take place in the space, as the audience is invited to engage more actively with the artworks, becoming an active part of the field of entanglements.

Biography

Ritayan Rath, Alexandr Luc, Vanessa Neuber, Roxana Ardeleanu

The artist group RAV brings together three Berlin-based artists: Ritayan Rath (digital art, ink on paper, ink wash, AI art), Alexandr Luc (abstract painting) and Vanessa Neuber (mixed media, collage, painting), Roxana Ardeleanu (painting, drawing, installation, sound, performance, writing). Coming from different backgrounds, they explore social issues of identity, mythology, gender and storytelling. Their shared approach understands art as a space for experimentation, exchange and connection. In painting, sculpture, installation, video and digital art, they create immersive atmospheres that transform spaces and inspire reflection. RAV stands for creative freedom, new forms of expression and organically growing, authentic encounters.
