“Heimweh” is a series of paintings exploring the migrant experience through nocturnal urban scenes, solitary figures, and illuminated architectural forms. The works reflect on the tension between inside and outside, where memories and fragments of home spill into the urban landscape. In this in-between space—between origin and present—identity is continuously reshaped and reimagined.
