The Chaos Collage Club presents RE:CONNECT THE SHAPES, an exploration of connection as a hands-on, active practice. Our collective consists of five international and national artists who bring distinct visual languages to a single workspace. By exchanging ideas and materials, we dissolve individual borders and transform separate scraps into a cohesive form of togetherness. Using analog collage, we build bridges between our different backgrounds and turn our individual processes into a collaborative space of possibilities.
For 48h Neukölln, this project serves as an ongoing theme of collective discovery. By combining fragments from magazines and newspapers, we bind thoughts together like puzzle pieces to form a new, shared reality. Our work is structured around the movement between IN, SIDE, and OUT. IN represents the inner truths and emotions we each bring to the table, while OUT refers to the external realities and media imagery that provide our raw material. The SIDE is our collaborative "in-between" space, the cut edge where we expose our inner selves and merge fragments to let new meanings emerge. This final output then returns to the OUT, becoming part of the world that first influenced us. OUT becomes the exhibition space, where we present the final individual and collective artworks of this collaboration.
In RE:CONNECT THE SHAPES, cutting is not an act of separation but a primary tool of connection. For this event, we invite visitors to step into this process firsthand. Through a participatory artwork, the audience can cut, move, and recombine shapes themselves, experiencing how art functions as a living, open system that evolves through co-creation. By joining us at the cut edge, the exhibition transforms into an experimental field where boundaries are not fixed.
By reconnecting shapes, Chaos Collage Club creates new realities, built from old images, shared values, and the simple yet radical act of coming together.

Biography
Chaos Collage Club
The Chaos Collage Club—featuring Mojca Bertoncelj (SVN), Fernanda Biondo (BRA), Caro Callas (DE), Isabelle Spicer (FR), and Marleen Schleusener (DE)—is delighted to return to 48h Neukölln. What began over two years ago as a casual evening in Neukölln has since evolved into an inspiring routine, leading the collective to exhibitions in Paris and Berlin. Using scissors, glue, and paper, they transform everyday chaos into captivating visual worlds where individual boundaries blur and new stories emerge.
