The artist group LichtEinfall.Berlin presents "In Between", a joint exhibition dedicated to transitions, liminal spaces, and moments of shifting or overlapping perception. It brings together five artistic positions which pursue different approaches.
The series on display range from macro, nature, and abstract photography to urban scenes. They explore the space between inside and outside, proximity and distance, light and darkness, reality and fiction, as well as worlds of thought and the often overlooked moments between now and soon. Blurring, slowing down, and altered scales open up spaces for individual associations and new interpretations of place, time, and (self-)perception.
In "Round the World Trip with Citizen's Benefit", Andreas Büchler presents a photo album of the supposed round the world trip of a citizen's benefit recipient. In "In Between", Teresa Krätschell explores urban liminal spaces where inside and outside merge. In "MomenTräume" (Momentary Rooms/Dreams), Sabrina Ortmann presents a composition of photos and lyrical texts that approach broken-up boundaries in various contexts. In "Close to Wonder", Susanne Remus displays macro photography of drops, flowers, and movement taken on a single day, bringing the outside world so close that it appears like a separate, enclosed interior space. In "Shadow Light", Isabel Rühl explores nature in black and white at the border between perception and reality.
In the exhibition space, the individual series enter into a dialogue with each other, creating a shared space of experience that invites visitors to pause and reflect, revealing what lies in between.
