TOWN UPSIDE DOWN

The private is public, and the public has now become private too, meaning that, in fact, everything is public. The city penetrates interior spaces and vice versa. In the photographic installation TOWN UPSIDE DOWN, up and down, outside and inside, high and low are reversed or irrelevant – everything is simultaneous, everywhere, always.
The metropolis becomes a labyrinth of possibilities; floor and ceiling intertwine vertically. The city is turned upside down, implodes, collapses.
Objects amplify the disorientation with architectural fragments, like the remains of a dilapidated backdrop on an abandoned stage.
