since 2023, we have conducted interviews with visitors of the festival and café karanfil during 48h neukölln. the voices we collected are slowly coming together to form an archive that documents impressions, thoughts, feelings of berliners and visitors regarding their lives in the city, and the question: what constitutes a good life and does it even exists?
come by and tell us what you feel, your desires, and your urges. do you feel heard by the city?
listen to the recordings of the last years where many different voices come together, conversations form, and stories appear. what connects our different paths, what separates them? and how do they lead from the past into the present to become one?
become part of the archive of voices, where, through the years, a clearer image of the city has appeared, with things that stay, return and disappear. how do socio-political developments and events, resistances, and fights incorporate in day-to-tay experiences? and how do they become noticeable in personal narratives?

danosch and caro are feinds and work in theater and media art.
danosch acts, works as dramaturg with diffenrent copanies between berlin and hamburg. he makes music, takes photos nad produces videos.
caro creates art in different media like theater/performances, text and moving images. additionally, caro sells drinks, works at a school and organizes events.
