Back to the Womb
Allegra Kortlang
3 July 2026 19:00 – 5 July 2026 19:00
Back to the Womb is a vision of regression in an age of collapse. A dystopian ritual for a civilisation that can no longer face its own reflection. Drawing from Douglas Rushkoff’s Survival of the Richest, artist Allegra Kortlang exposes an invisible perimeter that seemingly exists within the perpetual pursuit for individual success: that of retreat. Here, success is stripped of its heroic myths and is revealed as infantile insulation for the mega-rich. The apocalypse becomes the final luxury product of an ersatz elite, the stage upon which childlike technocrats play survival within an industrial womb.
