Greta Schwarzer Fleck develops a multimedia installation that takes the studio window as its central element. A window is more than an opening: it is a threshold space where private and public meet without fully surrendering their separation. The window becomes a visible interface – a surface of presentation that opens toward the city and brings passers-by into direct contact with the work as it emerges. Those who walk past become part of this threshold: the gaze falls not into a clearly defined interior, but onto something in between – a brief moment of irritation, a pause within the rush of everyday life. The installation examines relationships of nearness and distance, public and private, visibility and concealment.
