Identity

People cross borders to escape poverty, war, or climate crisis
They hope to win something in the process
But what do they lose?
What about their identity?
What about their values?
What about their culture?
Their way of dressing themselves will change
Will they still hold on to some pieces that identifies them?
Will they change completely to European taste?
Will they mix pieces from the past with pieces from today?
I am interested in these questions, and will try to visualize them through mixed media, photos, pieces of clothing, text.
Patterns will shift, borders will overlap, and new forms will appear.
