Views through windows look outwards or inwards.

When you think of a window, all sorts of things come to mind: beautiful and not-so-beautiful views of the outdoors, intimate glimpses into private lives, or perhaps a view of the latest products or exhibits.

A window can also represent a boundary between the inside and outside world.

The person inside can look out, watch, observe, gaze into the distance, and much more.

Windows can be closed, yet still offer glimpses inside.

The person looking in from the outside can watch, observe, or even secretly observe.

I love these views into all sorts of windows and shop windows.

Many windows are also used to display beautiful, quirky, or artistic objects. So it's always a pleasure to go on a treasure hunt and search for and discover a beautiful window.
