This exhibition examines boundaries — as experienced by those read as female. On a collective level we ask: How do we protect, assert, and strengthen ourselves? On a personal level we ask: How do we construct identity, form a self-image, and define where we end and the world begins? These are boundaries we set for safety, for self-discovery, for integrity. And boundaries we break — because freedom demands it.

The Boys Club Berlin is a creative female collective. We work across graphic design, illustration, art direction, photography, and painting. For this exhibition, we step outside our everyday working environment and transform our studio into an exhibition space — where we explore our own personal boundaries.
