THE BURROW PROJECT - An Acoustic Exploration between Inside and Outside, Kafka and Noise
Maria Jamborsky (Stimme, Performance) Marcel Siegel (Kontrabass, Loops)
3 July 2026 20:00–21:15
From Franz Kafka’s fragment "The Burrow" emerges an immersive reading and sound performance. Voice, double bass, and electronic effects create a vibrating burrow in which inside and outside, control and loss of control merge into an audible in-between.
Kafka’s "Burrow" is not interpreted—it is experienced as a psychological and acoustic labyrinth, where space, sound, and the audience’s perception flow into one another.
We present this as an eruptive 60-minute performance for 48 Hours Neukölln. A hat is passed around for voluntary contributions to help sustain the artistic practice.
